Design a Wild Tokota

As a fun little mini-contest, we've decided to extend the opportunity to our members to design the next wild Tokotas. You'll get to let your imagination run wild with a variety of genes and manes, and watch your design baby go on to be drawn and battled over by group members!

Rules

• You may collaborate on a design (i.e. having someone else do merle, or piebald...etc,) but all participating designers must be mentioned in the credit.
• Only one entry per person/collaboration team.
• Do not copy or heavily reference the designs of existing Tokotas.
• Please don't get too attached! If your design is selected, it is very likely that someone else will probably end up owning it.
• Along those lines, you have no influence over who eventually wins it. The admin team will be deciding taming odds and any applicable restrictions or bonuses.
• Designs and import information may be edited at our leisure if they are chosen and have incorrect elements. You will not have to go through the approval process for these, we will do the editing ourselves.

How does it work?

You create a design using any of the following genes listed below - kind of like a semi-custom, but with a lot more options! All designs entered will be looked over by the admins after the deadline, and four of our favorites will be picked.

If your design gets picked, you can try to tame it yourself, but there will be no special bonus to the designer. It will be open to everyone, and will (in all likelihood) probably be won by someone else, so you have to be able to let the design go. Designing your dream Tokota for this contest probably isn't the best idea!

What genes and additions can I use?

You can use a maximum of seven genes. Up to seven common genes, three uncommon genes, one rare gene, one modifier and one restricted or extended locus. You can use up to one mutation, but it will count as a gene.

• ONLY common genes can be homozygous.
• You can use any base coat except the cross mutation.
• You can use any mane type.
• You can use any build type.
• You can add physical traits.
• You can use any hierarchy status except Dominant/Alpha. Be sure to use the correct Wild Background!
• You can put any items, scars and hand paints on the Tokota that would have a reason to be there (for example, an especially aggressive wild tokota probably will not allow itself to be painted.)

Try to be subtle, though! And remember, the more incredibly rare your design's genotype is, the less likely it is that it will be picked. Wild Tokotas are our special treat to the group in that they will often be much more rare than anything found in a custom sale or event, but they are always within reason. The goal is to create a beautiful design and an intriguing character, not a genobomb that puts sparkledogs to shame, or a cash cow!

How to Submit

Upload your design as a PSD (with full editable layers) to sta.sh and fill out the following template in the description. Designs without a working PSD file will be disqualified. Remember to give your wild Tokota a name and personality!
